Zulham Damanik

Damanik hails from North Sumatra in Indonesia. Since a young age, he’s always had a burning ambition and natural love of art which eventually led him to Jakarta to begin studying Art and fulfilling his ambition.

IN THE STUDIO

Most of Damanik's paintings and ideas are inspired by the nature around him, human emotions, sensibility and invigoration.

Acrylic on canvas is his choice of material.

"Every time I pass a blank canvas I feel something explode inside of me. It's not something I can explain or pass on to someone else … but it's always the beginning of a new creation. It takes my soul into another life dimension where the meaning of life is in every corner."

His paintings have been collected by both domestic and international art lovers and he's exhibited at sole and group exhibitions in Indonesia and overseas.
